Kris’s dedication to property maintenance and management was cultivated at an early age as he grew up watching his father successfully navigate the business. Kris worked through all aspects of property maintenance for multi-family housing – starting with grounds cleaning and progressively taking on more responsibilities, such as fixing appliances, installing doors, windows, and cabinets, and, of course, wall repairs, painting, and vacant unit turnovers.
In his twenties, Kris continued his work in property maintenance and management, holding leadership and training roles for two prominent property management companies in the Fargo-Moorhead area. These roles broadened his horizons and expanded his knowledge of how to be successful in his field. Kris effectively managed small and large teams, turning profits, confirming the importance of preventative maintenance, and recognizing the necessity for high-quality work in all services.
Simultaneously, Kris’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished, leading him into his own businesses that included landscaping, groundskeeping, roofing, new construction work, and remodeling.
As a direct communicator, Kris is driven by high-quality service and strives to consistently exceed customer expectations. This simple mindset not only helped him grow his client base but build loyalty – a key reason he continues to serve many of the same customers today.
In early 2019, Kris and his wife established Building & Grounds Maintenance, LLC. With more than two decades of experience, Kris leads his team in delivering top-notch maintenance solutions to meet the unique needs of each client – from routine upkeep to special projects.
